When notorious front range musicians, Roger Falter and Pat Travis, joined forces to blend their diverse musical styles, their recipe was SIMPLE: Share their irresistible chemistry on stage with soulful lead vocals, spine-tingling harmonies, and the sweet instrumental interplay of guitar and mandolin…
But trying to package this duo “as if they were the flavor-of-the-month is like cramming your favorite entrée into a big mac wrapper.” Concocting musical recipes ranging from multi-shades of blue, to cool reggae grooves, to “down and dirty” rockers- and everything in between- this pair empties the whole “spice rack” into the blender and emerges with a menu of their own… an eclectic vibrational smorgasbord with something for every musical taste…
… And to expand this recipe (…and the musical pleasure):
Take Roger and Pat’s basic blend and marinate all night with the percussive wizardry of John Bertalan, throw in a splash of blues harp by Tony “Hot Lips” Groszewski, and then cover tightly with rich bass accents … Cook until well-done… and, voila… One of the hardest-working bands on the Front Range scene today- “Kicked To The Curb”…
This is a band that picks up what’s lying around, throws it into the big pot, and SIMPLY cooks up something unpredictably new…
